Welcome to my portfolio page, where you can find a variety of images to view. I have arranged them in several categories, which you can select from below.
While the Rocky Mountains are on my doorstep, you may also find mountain scenes here from other mountain ranges. High alpine lakes and the surrounding mountian scenery are favorite subjects of mine. I especially enjoy the Fall in Colorado when the leaves of the Aspen, Cottonwood, and other species put on a spectacular show each year.
One thing Colorado doesn't have is beaches. There are a few lakes that could claim to have some beach-like areas, but it just isn't the same without the waves. From the first time that I visited Hawaii, I was hooked on seascape images. Though I'm not sure I could live on the islands full time, I definitely try to get back to them and other beach areas as often as possible.
I spent a fair amount of time in Moab offroaoding and exploring and developed an appreciation for the landscapes of the desert southwest. The terrain and environment can be very unforgiving, and when exploring here you definitely don't want to be unprepared. If you can deal with the heat, you can see some amazing things that aren't found anywhere else. It's one of my favorite areas to go, and I expect to return many times.
This category features images that don't necessarily fit in any of the other categories. Things like the Aurora in the image to the right. The images here might be from the other regions mentioned above, but are just a little different.
